Everything about memoloop
Imagine everyone would post their memories at memoloop. You
would be able to browse through every day of the year and look at other
memoloopers memories. You could take your own history and view it as part of
the big picture. Suddenly you wouldn’t just have your own perspective but the
one of many others as well.
Imagine viewing important historical events like the fall of
the Berlin Wall or 9/11 through the eyes of others, through their individual
views and writings. All of a sudden it’s not world history which is all that
important but the experience of the individual who lived to see it live.
If you post your past, you will get to know people, you
might have met in the past without realizing it. memoloop offers the chance to
revisit these moments, to use the power of the past.
memoloop offers:
After registering (name and email) you can create your own
profile.
On a world map and a timeline, which you can operate yourself,
you will have the opportunity to browse through memos of other users or to
search for entries concerning a specific date, place or keyword.
If you like a memo you can contact its author.
Of course you can post memos as well. As soon as another user
has posted a memo referring to the same place or time, memoloop will notify
you, giving you the opportunity to get to know the author.
Starting in September, we are constantly adding new features to
memoloop. Since early September you can create groups, categorize your memos (i.e.
events, politics, trips) and soon you will be able to route them onto memoloop using your mobile phone, as well.
